Helper Application FAQ
What are Helpers expected to do?Helpers are expected to answer player questions, assist new members, provide guidance when needed, and follow all server rules, community guidelines, and staff expectations. Their primary role is to create a welcoming and helpful environment for everyone.
Do Helpers have a required schedule or minimum hours?
No. Helpers are only expected to remain reasonably active within the community. There are no fixed schedules or required weekly hours, but prolonged inactivity may result in the role being reviewed.
Can I play normally while I'm a Helper?
Absolutely! Helpers are regular players and are encouraged to enjoy the server just like everyone else. However, any staff-related information or reports they encounter must remain confidential and should never be used for personal advantage.
What are the requirements to become a Helper?
To apply, you should:
- Be at least 16 years old (or whatever age you require).
- Have a good understanding of the server and its rules.
- Be an active member of the FragPixel community.
- Have a mature and respectful attitude.
- Be active and verified on our Discord server.
- Have a clean disciplinary history or demonstrate significant improvement if you have previous punishments.
What do you look for in Helper applications?
When reviewing applications, we consider several factors, including:
- Your behavior and attitude in-game and on Discord.
- Your punishment history.
- Your activity within the community.
- Your communication skills.
- Your willingness to help others.
- Your maturity and ability to remain calm in difficult situations.
I've received warnings or punishments before. Can I still become a Helper?
Yes. Having previous warnings or punishments does not automatically disqualify you.
We consider the severity of the offense, how long ago it occurred, how often you've been punished, and whether you've shown improvement since then.
Do I need to know current staff members to be accepted?
No. Being friends with staff members will not improve your chances, and not knowing anyone on the staff team will not hurt them. Every application is reviewed fairly based on its own merits.
Why do I need to be active on Discord?
Discord is one of our primary communication platforms. We want Helpers to be familiar with our community, communicate respectfully, and represent FragPixel both in-game and on Discord.
Do I have to become a Moderator later?
Not at all. Becoming a Moderator is completely optional. Many Helpers choose to remain Helpers, and that's perfectly fine.
How do I become a Moderator?
Most Moderator applicants are expected to first serve as a Helper. This allows us to evaluate their activity, judgment, communication skills, and ability to assist the community before considering them for the moderation team.
