FragPixel Server Rules
Please read and follow all FragPixel rules. These rules apply to all players across the server, Discord, and related platforms. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse.
General Server Rules
1. Respectful Communication
Do not use slurs, hate speech, discrimination, harassment, toxicity, or inappropriate behavior in chat.
Chat must remain free of:
  • Spam
  • Excessive advertisements
  • Unnecessary arguments
  • Offensive content
Additional guidelines:
  • Discussions about politics or highly controversial topics may be restricted.
  • Excessive use of capital letters (CAPS) may be considered spam.
  • Begging for special permissions, ranks, or advantages may be considered spam.
  • Swearing is allowed as long as it is not:
    • Used as hate speech or a slur.
    • Directed at another player.
    • Used excessively.
  • Offensive usernames, skins, or inappropriate content are not allowed.
  • Sexual harassment is strictly prohibited.
If you experience harassment, please contact a staff member or submit a player report.
2. No Sharing Answers, Cheating, or Requesting Unfair Help
Players must not share solutions, answers, or hints that ruin another player's experience.
Do not:
  • Post solutions publicly or privately.
  • Give answers to players who are trying to complete challenges.
  • Help players bypass intended gameplay.
Working together with other players may be allowed depending on the situation, but players must not give unfair advantages.
3. No Alternate Accounts, Cheats, Exploits, or Bugs Abuse
The following are not allowed:
  • Using multiple accounts without staff approval.
  • Using hacked clients or unfair modifications.
  • Abusing glitches, bugs, or exploits.
  • Using macros that provide an unfair advantage.
  • Using exploits to avoid punishments.
Allowed modifications may include:
  • Performance improvements (such as OptiFine or Sodium).
  • Visual enhancements such as shaders.
If your account is lost or compromised, contact staff instead of creating another account.
Using alternate accounts to avoid punishments may result in all involved accounts being punished.
Exploits and Glitches
The following terms describe unfair advantages:
Skip: Any method used to avoid playing part of intended content.
Shortcut: Any method that bypasses the creator's intended way of completing content.
Exploit/Glitch: Any abuse of game mechanics, commands, items, or unintended features.
All exploits should be reported to staff immediately.
Players must not:
  • Use exploits to gain advantages.
  • Hide discovered exploits.
  • Abuse connection methods to avoid damage or gameplay consequences.
4. No Griefing, Stealing, or Lag Creation
Players may not intentionally damage the server or other players' experiences.
Examples include:
  • Destroying another player's builds.
  • Flooding areas with water or lava.
  • Stealing from protected or personal areas.
  • Creating machines or setups designed to lag the server.
  • Abusing entities to cause performance issues.
5. No Punishment Evasion
Players may not attempt to bypass punishments.
This includes:
  • Using another account to avoid a ban.
  • Helping another player evade punishment.
Punishment evasion will result in stronger penalties.
6. World-Specific Rules Apply
Some worlds, events, or challenges may have additional rules.
Players must follow all rules specific to the game mode or world they are playing in.
Do not interfere with other players' unprotected builds or property.
Additional Rules for Special Access Players
These rules apply to players who have completed special challenges or received additional permissions.
7. Do Not Re-enter Restricted Areas
Players may not return to restricted areas after completing the required challenge unless they have staff approval or supervision.
8. Do Not Abuse Extra Permissions
Additional permissions must not be used to gain unfair advantages.
Examples:
  • Setting homes in inappropriate locations.
  • Bringing restricted items into challenges.
  • Using Creative/Spectator abilities unfairly.
  • Using movement mechanics not intended for the area.
9. Spectating Players
Players who spectate others must follow these rules:
  • The player being watched must give permission.
  • Spectators may not provide unfair assistance.
  • Spectators may only provide limited guidance where allowed.
10. Changes to Live Content
Changes to existing maps, challenges, or live content require staff approval.
Allowed:
  • Minor visual improvements that do not affect gameplay.
  • Fixing approved issues.
Not allowed without approval:
  • Gameplay changes.
  • Major modifications.
  • Changes that affect player progression.
Large changes may result in content being temporarily removed for review.
Reporting Rule Breaks
If you discover bugs, exploits, or rule violations, please report them through the official FragPixel forums or Discord.
Helping staff identify issues keeps the server fair and enjoyable for everyone.
